This month, the Calvin Coffeehouse is pleased to be sponsoring a special fundraising concert at 7:00 p.m.on Friday, June 9th, 2023 to raise funds for a newly arrived family from Syria. The concert features a number of talented musical guests including:
The Fiddle Chicks (old-time and folk fiddling)
The Uppatones (female-voice vocal trio)
Amy Stephens & Amir Haghighi (Celtic and Persian folk music)
Voce Destino (female-voice chamber choir)
Brennan Sinclair (orriginal music / singer-songwriter)
Joy Vox Community Choir (concert coir)
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., admission is free, and all are welcome. A paid concession is available during intermission. All donation go to our friends Youseff and his two daughters, Rouaa and Diala. Please join us at Calvin Presbyterian Church (33911 Hazelwood Ave., Abbotsford) for a great evening of fantastic music by some of the Fraser Valley's most talented musicians, and an opportunity to support Youseff and his daughters as they begin their new lives in Canada.
